International SERP checks help you understand how search results differ between markets. Use them for international SEO, localization, expansion planning, and competitor research.
Recommended workflow
Section titled “Recommended workflow”- Create a project for the market or expansion initiative.
- Run a Search Engine Proxy search in the first country.
- Duplicate or recreate the search for another country.
- Keep the query and device consistent.
- Change one setting at a time: country, language, city, or domain.
- Use compare mode to review differences.
- Save important searches.
Country and language
Section titled “Country and language”Country and language are different settings.
- Country controls the target market.
- Language controls the search/interface language.
For example, a Spanish-language search in the United States can differ from a Spanish-language search in Spain.
Country-only and language-only
Section titled “Country-only and language-only”Use country-only when you want pages from a specific country. Use language-only when you want pages in a specific language.
Do not turn these on by default. They are useful for scoped research, but they can hide broader market behavior.
