International SERP checks help you understand how search results differ between markets. Use them for international SEO, localization, expansion planning, and competitor research.

  1. Create a project for the market or expansion initiative.
  2. Run a Search Engine Proxy search in the first country.
  3. Duplicate or recreate the search for another country.
  4. Keep the query and device consistent.
  5. Change one setting at a time: country, language, city, or domain.
  6. Use compare mode to review differences.
  7. Save important searches.

Country and language are different settings.

  • Country controls the target market.
  • Language controls the search/interface language.

For example, a Spanish-language search in the United States can differ from a Spanish-language search in Spain.

Use country-only when you want pages from a specific country. Use language-only when you want pages in a specific language.
