AI Visibility Metrics and Results
Interpret AI mentions, recommendations, share of voice, sentiment, attributes, and raw responses.
AI Visibility results show how your brand and competitors appear across prompts, locations, and AI platforms. Use the metrics to find patterns, then inspect individual checks for context.
Key metrics
Section titled “Key metrics”| Metric | Meaning |

| Visibility rate | Percentage of checks where your brand appeared |
| Mentions | Number of detected brand mentions |
| Recommendation rate | How often your brand was recommended |
| Recommended rank | Where your brand appeared in a recommendation list |
| Share of voice | Your mention share compared with tracked competitors |
| Sentiment | Directional tone of detected mentions |
| Top pick rate | How often your brand was the leading recommendation |
| Attribute gaps | Attributes competitors are mentioned for but your brand is missing |
Overview tab
Section titled “Overview tab”Use the overview to answer:
- Is our brand visible?
- Is visibility improving?
- Which prompts produced mentions?
- Which platforms mention us?
- Are competitors getting more share?
- Are there recent alerts?
Analytics tab
Section titled “Analytics tab”Use analytics to compare:
- visibility over time
- share of voice over time
- platform performance
- location performance
- prompt-level visibility
- competitor mention share
- ad or sponsored mention activity
Checks tab
Section titled “Checks tab”Checks show individual prompt/platform/location outputs. Open a check when you need to understand why a metric changed.
Review:
- prompt
- platform
- location
- whether your brand was mentioned
- whether your brand was recommended
- competitor mentions
- sponsored status
- raw response
Raw responses
Section titled “Raw responses”Raw responses are important because AI answers can be nuanced. Use them to verify whether a detected mention is meaningful, neutral, negative, or incidental.
Do not rely only on aggregate metrics for high-stakes decisions.
Attribute gaps
Section titled “Attribute gaps”Attribute gaps show what competitors are associated with and where your brand may be absent. Use these gaps for content, positioning, product marketing, and sales enablement ideas.
Example:
If competitors are repeatedly mentioned for enterprise reporting and your brand is missing from those same prompts, you may need better content or positioning around enterprise reporting.
